“Living in Space” Themed Science Talk Held as Part of World Space Week Activities

As part of World Space Week, a science talk themed “Living in Space” was held at our center to increase students’ interest in science and technology and help them better understand space and the sky.

On Wednesday, October 8, Dr. Nazlı Karaman from the Astrophysics Application and Research Center at Adıyaman University met with students at the Adıyaman Science and Art Center Conference Hall.

Throughout the talk, Dr. Karaman shared insights on living conditions in space, the daily lives of astronauts, the importance of space research for humanity, and future goals for permanent human settlements in space. After the presentation, students had the opportunity to ask questions about space, which they listened to with great curiosity and interest.

At the end of the event, Dr. Karaman thanked the participants and emphasized that increasing young people's interest in science will contribute to Turkey’s space initiatives.

Through this meaningful event, students had both an enjoyable and educational experience, gaining awareness about space science and technology.
